Join AUMT’s Phlebotomy Program and follow these 4 simple steps to obtain your

CPT1 license:

1. Attend 40 Hours of Didactic Training

   • Participate in in-person classroom training.

2. Take the National Exam

   • Prepare and sit for the exam at an authorized testing site.

3. Complete Practical Training

   • Attend an externship for at least 40 hours and perform 60 blood draws.

4. Apply for Your State License

   • Submit your application for a California state license.

Program Overview

• 48 Hours of Didactic Training: Engage in hands-on training, exam preparation, and lectures in the classroom.

• National Exam: After completing the course, take the NHA Exam at a designated testing site.

• Externship Placement: Once you pass the exam, you will be placed at an externship site to complete your 40 hours and 60 blood draws.

• Certification and Licensing: Upon completing the externship, bring your paperwork to us to receive your AUMT certificate. We will assist you in applying for your state license.
   

Program Cost

The total cost of our CPT1 Program is $2,225.00, which covers everything!

• Registration Fee: $245.00

• Tuition Fee: $1,710.00

• Installment Plan Fee: $45.00

• National Exam Fee: $129.00 (paid directly to NHA)

• State License Fee: $100.00 (paid directly to CDPH)
   

Steps needed to complete your Registration:

1) You MUST email us a SCANNED COPY of your ID and high School Equivalency (we can’t accept screenshots of documents). We have also provided the following link to AUMT's filing system: Document upload

2) Once we receive those items, we will then email the Application & Policies (via DocuSign)

3) Once we’ve received the completed paperwork, we will then send the correct information needed to make the payment (if the $245.00 registration fee has not been paid already).
